Author Guidelines

  1. Manuscripts submitted to the Journal of Applied Community Service and Innovation should present the outcomes of community service activities or applied research. Manuscripts may be written in Indonesian or English.
  2. The Journal of Applied Community Service and Innovation does not accept submissions via email. All manuscripts must be submitted exclusively through the online journal system. Authors who have not yet registered are required to create an account prior to submission.
  3. Manuscripts should be prepared in .doc or .docx format and are expected to not exceed 30 pages in length.
  4. All manuscripts must adhere to the official journal template. Authors are advised to download and use the Journal of Applied Community Service and Innovation Template provided via the available link.
  5. The recommended structure of the manuscript is as follows: Introduction – Literature Review (optional) – Implementation Method – Results and Discussion – Conclusion.
  6. Established theories need not be restated and may simply be cited when relevant. However, theories or propositions requiring clarification or further development by the author may be elaborated after the Introduction section.
  7. Each article must include more than 10 references, preferably from the last five years and from reputable journals. At least 80% of the references should be derived from journal articles.
  8. Authors are required to submit a signed Publication Ethics Statement together with their manuscript. Detailed information regarding publication ethics can be accessed through the provided link. Authors must read, comply with, and sign this statement prior to submission.
  9. All manuscripts submitted to the Journal of Applied Community Service and Innovation will undergo a Double-Blind Peer Review process. The entire review process is conducted online through the journal system, and authors can monitor the progress of their manuscripts via the system.
  10. The duration from manuscript submission to acceptance may vary depending on the complexity of each review process. Therefore, the editorial board cannot guarantee a fixed publication timeline for newly submitted manuscripts.
  11. All matters concerning copyright permissions, software use in manuscript preparation, or any other issues related to Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), along with any legal consequences that may arise, are the sole responsibility of the author(s).
