CrossMark Policy

CrossMark, a multi-publisher initiative from CrossRef, provides a standardized way for readers to locate the authoritative version of a document. PT. Mifandi Mandiri Digital recognizes the importance of maintaining the integrity and completeness of scholarly archives for researchers and librarians, and places great emphasis on ensuring trust in the authenticity of its electronic records. By clicking the CrossMark icon, readers can learn about the current status of a document and access additional publication record information related to that document.

Article Updates

Updates to an article may occur in several forms, and all updates are communicated through official notices in the journal issue, rather than direct alterations to the “original” article. The types of changes include:

Erratum (Correction, Addendum)

An erratum is a change made at the initiative of the publisher, either in the form of a correction or an addendum.

Corrigendum (Clarification)

A corrigendum refers to changes made at the initiative of the author to clarify or correct information in an already published article.

Expression of Concern

An expression of concern is issued when an article is suspected of containing ethical misconduct and is under investigation. This occurs after communication with the authors has been established.

Retraction

A retraction is a formal withdrawal of a published article. Retractions may occur due to:
a) serious flaws in the article’s findings or conclusions, or
b) proven cases of plagiarism or multiple submissions/redundant publications.

The primary purpose of retraction is to correct the scholarly record and maintain its integrity, rather than to punish authors. Retracted articles should not be deleted from printed or electronic archives, but their status as “retracted” must be clearly indicated.

Removal

An article may be removed if:
a) it is subject to legal issues or court orders, or
b) it poses serious health or safety risks.

Withdrawal

A withdrawal occurs when a manuscript is retracted prior to publication due to significant academic flaws identified during the review or editorial process.
