Publication Process

Author Submits Manuscript to Editor
Acknowledgment of receipt is sent to the Author

Does the manuscript comply with the journal’s style guidelines? (by Publishing Team)

  • No → Inform Author

  • Yes → Assign Editor/Associate Editor (by Editor in Chief)

Initial evaluation by Editor regarding compliance with style guidelines (by Editor in Chief/Associate Editor)

  • If the manuscript meets requirements → Invite Reviewers to review

  • If not → Reject Manuscript (Reject/Decline) → Inform Author

Reviewer evaluates manuscript.

  • Editor may send reminders.

  • Reviewer submits review results to Editor.

Editor in Chief/Associate Editor makes a temporary decision: Reject/Decline, Major/Minor Revision, or Accept.

  • Editor thanks Reviewers for their contribution.

If Revision is required:

  • Manuscript returned to Author for revision.

  • Author revises and resubmits to Editor.

Editor in Chief/Associate Editor checks corrections and makes a final decision (Reject/Decline, Minor Revision, or Accept).

  • Sometimes a second or third round of revision may be required from the Author.

Final Decision Pathways:

  • Manuscript may still require further revisions.

  • Manuscript is accepted for publication → Editor informs Author.

  • Manuscript is rejected/declined → Editor informs Author.

Accepted manuscripts proceed to the Production Stage.
